Our Therapy Services:

Typically, we wear many hats and life “tries” to deter us from making time for self-care. However, YOU are important so, give yourself permission to put YOU at the top of your to-do list. Self-care is not selfish, it is essential….YOU are essential. Our goal is to support our clients holistically…..mentally, spiritually, socially, and physically. Our clients are actively involved in their treatment plan that is tailored to their unique selves. We see clients for individual, couples, and family therapy. We support our clients with concerns around depression, anxiety, stress, health management…...and we have a specialty in maternal health. For the record, you do not need to have a specific concern in your life to see a therapist. We believe it is important to be proactive about your mental health and having periodic check-ins with a therapist is encouraged. “Give your friends a break and get you a therapist.”

I am an Out-of-Network insurance provider.
If you choose to utilize out-of-network benefits, I will provide you with a receipt of services or “Superbill” to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please be aware that your insurance provider may choose to cover all, some, or none of your services. Feel free to contact your insurance provider directly to verify your out-of-network coverage. Consider the following questions when determining if your provider will reimburse you for psychotherapy services:
• Does my health insurance plan include Out-of-Network Mental Health Benefits?
• Do I need written approval from my primary care physician for services to be covered?
• What percentage of my Out-of-Network Mental Health Services will be covered if I submit a Superbill?
• Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it? Have I met my deductible yet?
• Is there a limit to how many sessions I can have per calendar year? If so, what is the limit?
• How do I get reimbursed? How often should I submit a Superbill? What is the process for submitting a Superbill?

Please discuss your income and financial situation with your therapist to see if you qualify for a reduced fee. Do not let finances stop your healing journey; talk to us! We are humans (great ones), not a computer or large company.

If we accept insurance, we have to provide a diagnosis which is not always relevant to your treatment. The insurance company will also decide HOW you work with your clinician and they might also limit the number of sessions they will pay for. Insurance companies might also ask for records of our sessions which we believe is a violation of your privacy. Once your mental health status and treatment is documented with an insurance company, it becomes a part of your permanent health record. Furthermore, insurance companies profit billions of dollars per year, yet deny policyholders coverage and treatment.

COVID-19 Update:

We have chosen to take precautionary measures, not out of fear, but based on some of the facts that have emerged in efforts to protect those with the greatest immune system compromise and vulnerability. We are currently conducting therapy sessions in-person, virtually, and by phone. Clients may choose which option is best for them when scheduling their appointment with their therapist.
